The “Investors Network Event”, organized by A.I.I.K. – Italian Kenyan Industrial Association will be held on September 15, at the Italian Trade Agency in New York.
The event will bring together selected investors, business and governmental leaders, aiming at launch international projects, facilitate connections and explore investment opportunities from across Italy and Kenya.
Starting at 2:30 pm with the opening remarks, the program includes the presentation of AIIK’s vision, mission and activities for 2018, and a roundtable discussion: “Italy and Kenya: emerging opportunities, challenges and prospects”.
The roundtable will feature a notable lineup of speakers, including: Sunir Chandaria, Principal Conros and Honorary Consul of Kenya in Canada; Nancy Wamaitha, from Safaricom Limited; Dr. Eliane Ubalijoro, Professor of Practice for Public Private Sector Partnership at McGill Montréal University and Fellow of African Academy Of Science as well as member of President Kagame Advisory council; Zaynah Khanbhai, CEO Latin America, Caribbean and Africa (LAC Africa); Andreas Dal Santo, Director of Research, Italian Central Bank – Director, Solidus Capital Group LLC; Massimo Tommasoli, Permanent Observer for International IDEA to the United Nations.
Panel discussions will debate key opportunities in Kenya, current trends and emerging challenges, investment framework, and relationships between Italy and Kenya.
